This blog was originally set up to support a one day taster session for learners interested in Social Media for Small Groups. The session was held in sunny Mansfield on, you’ve guessed it, Monday 12th July 2010. The taster session was devised and delivered under contract to the Workers’ Educational Association by Alan Carter-Davies.
This blog is now going to be used to support a short course called: “Everything you ever wanted to know about blogs, but were afraid to ask!”
Th
e new course aims to introduce blogs and blogging and how they can be used by organisations, and came about as a result of some very positive feedback after a social media workshop that ran at the East Midlands Regional Conference in November. The first course, for WEA staff, is due to run in early 2011, with a second one for WEA branch volunteers planned for a little later in the year. Helping Alan to deliver the new course will be Lindsey Tasker.

Thanks for all the tips and tricks Alan and Lindsey
The part about adding a linked image to the side bar really helped me out.
