New Course for 2012

After the success of the last ‘Websites for Voluntary & Community Groups’ course back in December, we’re now gearing up for the latest course which starts next week.

A new cohort of learners are due to boldly go where others have before, and take their first steps into the world of wordpress. For three Friday’s, starting on 27 January (9.30am-3pm), and then on 3 and 10 February, we will be equipping members of voluntary and community groups with all the skills they need to build their own website, for free.

To join this course you need to be at Unit 2, The John Folman Business Centre, 31 Hungerhill Road, Nottingham NG3 4NB by 9.30am on Friday 27 January.

Hello WEA Sheffield

The East Midlands blog training team are taking a road trip to Sheffield tomorrow to deliver the latest version of the ‘Everything you ever wanted to know about blogs, but were afraid to ask’ course. After running the course successfully in Nottingham earlier in the year, we are now taking it to our colleagues in the Yorkshire & Humber region.

So, we’ve re-worked the sesson plans and slimmed the course down to just ten hours over two days, but still managed to keep all the good stuff in (there’s just a bit less time to play).  If you want to see what we’re going to be up to, click on the links below to check out the session plans.
